Balancing Using Golf Balls:

I have a 1996 H1 and had wheel balancing issues. I checked with my favorite local tire shop and asked them what they do with over sized rubber such as the 37s I run on the H1. They suggested GOLF BALLS! This is what the semi-truck drivers have been using for years I guess. Anyway, I didn't believe it till I tried it. IT WORKS! Two golf balls in each tire did what the 'centramatics' couldn't. I can still feel a little shake at very low speeds, about 20-25mph but then she smooths out and drives great all the way up to 75! (I don't usually go that fast though 65 avg.) This is a great alternative to expensive balancers, and shop fees! Don't knock it till you try it. I've been running these golf balls for four or five years in the same tires. I've never had them create dust in the tires or clog the CTIS system.
