Colored Tie-Wraps Indicating Front Spring Types:

Quick guide to see if you got the right springs with your Hummer. Look at the front springs, you will see a tie-wrap on them. They are a specific color. When you know your color, view the chart below. Example, if you have a 4-Door Wagon with a Winch and a Diesel engine, you will have a orange tie wrap.

YELLOW TIE WRAP: Spring p/n 6005786
All Gasoline Powered Hummer w/o Winch(1995-1996)
All 1992/1993 2dr Hummers w/o Winch

RED TIE WRAP: Spring p/n 6005787
2-Door w/ Winch Diesel
4-Door Soft Top Diesel
4-Door Soft Top w/ Winch GAS ONLY
4-Door Hardtop Diesel
4-Door Hardtop w/ Winch GAS ONLY
4-Door Wagon Diesel
4-Door Wagon w/ Winch GAS ONLY

ORANGE TIE WRAP: Spring p/n 12338316-1

If your color doesn't match what you see above, you got the wrong springs (woopsie!).
