Tire/Wheel Balancing:
You really can't expect a *perfect* drive, however, there are a few things you can do to get there. One, is to get the tires balanced by one of those OFF the vehicle balancers. Some shops offer on the vehicle balancing, which the manual does not recommend. One reason for that is many shops will use the vehicles own power to spin the wheels, while a machine will read the tire, until the guy inside your truck hits the brakes to stop the tire - then *SNAP* goes the half shaft. Bad Idea. Unless the vehicle is in Neutral, Transfer case is in neutral and the machine does all the tire acceleration and braking, not the hummers brakes this meathod may work.

The second thing you can do is get the tires trued, that is make the tires perfectly round. A commom fact is that ALL tires from the factory, regardless, of manufacturer or price, are not round. This will make a BIG difference! Even though as you watch that machine cut precious rubber off your $375 tire, you really will save tire tread in the long run.

The third thing you can do after all that is purchase a set of Centramatic tire balancers, which work well, IF your tires are balanced and trued. These things really do work, but are not the Messiah of all your balance woes.
