Engine/Gas Engine/Performance Chip:

When I had my 95 gas truck I replaced the chip with the JET. It requires you to use premium gas. The chip reprograms the computer advance to take advantage of premium gas. I found that the truck ran smoother and seemed to to accelerate from a start faster. Another owner who has the chip claims that his truck merges into traffic on a highway ramp much better. It does not increase fuel mileage. It did cut down the smell the converter made.

My Service Manager brought some information in. For those who own gas HUMMERS, the following is the info for the "ADS Super Chip". Careful, the info is for a 1995 XLC2, if that makes a difference. Part number: 9513-A-350TDF Auto. Phone: 800.875.2112.

Was told that on a 200 mile drive the chip made the bassett hound into a greyhound. I'm told the chip goes in first with the GM chip riding piggyback.
